As Chief of Search Marketing at White Shark Media Derek oversees the department’s performance and deliverables, handles Client management formulation and implements initiatives for the entire WSM Search Team. Derek launched his professional career in 2008 when he first took on the job of Quality Assurance Analyst (managing multiple campaigns, including Walmart.com) within the customer care industry. His performance quickly exceeded expectations at the firm and soon caught the eye of upper management. In the year 2011, Derek was presented with the opportunity to jump into the world of Search Engine Marketing here at White Shark Media. He quickly recognized that his talents and experience aligned well with the skills demanded in the industry. He has worked his way up from being an Account Executive to a management position after delivering outstanding results to his clients. This has allowed Derek to gain the expertise needed to manage, supervise and audit all aspects of PPC accounts.
